The string of postponements continue for the Winnipeg Jets, as the National Hockey League has delayed another one of their home games, the league announced Friday.
In total, the NHL announced nine additional games will need to be rescheduled for a later date, including the matchup on Jan. 16, where the Jets were set to host the Edmonton Oilers.
Following this latest announcement, Winnipeg has now had eight of its games postponed, most of which due to local attendance restrictions.
For now, the Jets are still slated to host the Ottawa Senators at Canada Life Centre on Jan. 15. That being said, based on this current situation, it wouldn’t be shocking to see that game eventually postponed, too.
In the meantime, Winnipeg is scheduled to play its first game in two weeks Sunday when they visit the Vegas Golden Knights at T-Mobile Arena, beginning at 3:00 pm CT.
