After many requests, we’ve finally sat down and updated the standings in the Nation Network Hockey Pool.

The contest rules and original entries are here. Scoring is as laid out in the original post, with one exception: because goaltenders are graded primarily on save percentage, some have run up enormous totals in the early going (Jonathan Quick, for example, is worth 152.5 points today, better than the entire total of several teams), so I have divided their totals by eight to prevent them from crazily skewing the contest. As the season continues, these updates will feature goaltender totals divided by a lesser amount.

Every effort was made to include as many entrants as possible. Several entrants left one or two spaces blank; in these cases the box(es) was/were filled by alphabetical order. Entrants who left more than three spaces blank were eliminated from consideration.

Because it’s so early, several players are in the negative, dragging their teams down with them – either goaltenders with less than a 0.900 SV% or skaters with an ugly plus/minus. Here are the worst of the lot in the early going:
