Mark Scheifele had a hell of a week and the NHL recognized it. After scoring four goals and three assists over four games, Scheifele has been named the NHL&#8217;s second star of the week.

Scheifele scored two goals and had two assists in a big win over the Blues on Monday, he had a goal in both of Winnipeg&#8217;s two losses to the Leafs, and he had an assist in the team&#8217;s win over Detroit. Not bad. Not bad at all.
Scheifele is up to six goals and six assists over 12 games on the season, which puts him at a point-per-game pace for the third year in a row. Though he doesn&#8217;t get talked about enough by national media, Scheifele has evolved into one of the game&#8217;s best offensive players.
The Jets will head to Finland for back-to-back games against Aleksander Barkov and the Florida Panthers in Helsinki. After that, they&#8217;ll have a week off before returning to action with a four-game homestand.
