It’s Monday, we’re at the end of July and NHL news has slowed up to a bit of a crawl as players and management alike prepare for the coming season in-between outings at various weddings and dance socials.
We’ve been passing the time here at JetsNation by taking part in some different podcasts, having mild panic attacks about the future of Jacob Trouba and by having a tournament to determine Winnipeg’s all-time favorite hockey player.
Later up today in that tournament will be the Jets wunderkid sniper Patrik Laine and as I scoured the internets for fun videos of Laine – which next to Dustin Byfuglien hits may be the easiest thing to find on YouTube – I came across this gem that features all 44 goals scored by Laine from this past season.
And yes, this is absolutely borrowing a cue from our friends over at OilersNation who just recently showed off ten minutes of Connor McDavid highlights. And really, you should just go watch that as well because even though he doesn’t have the correct jersey, that shouldn’t prvent you from appreciating 97’s skill.
Which goal was your favorite? Can you even limit it to just one goal?
How many more will he get next season?
Sound off on your love for Laine in the comments below or let us know what you think on our Twitter feed!
