On Dale Hawerchuk Night, the Jets got some support from their “bottom six” forward group as goals from Andrew Copp, Joel Armia and Adam Lowry helped pace Winnipeg to a 4-1 win over the Arizona Coyotes.
Brian Little also added a goal for good measure on a nifty steal of the puck and breakaway score, which hopefully is a sign that his struggles to start this season are becoming a thing of the past.
Connor Hellebuyck bounced back from a tough game in Vegas to stop 32 of 33 shots faced to pick up the win.
Two games against the Arizona Coyotes and two wins. Exactly what we should have expected from the Winnipeg Jets in this little stretch.
