The preseason is over. Thank goodness.

The Jets finish said preseason with a shootout loss in Calgary, mostly due in large part to Flames goalie Mike Smith who was very good in a 39 save effort. Patrik Laine was the only jet to beat him, which he did twice because he’s Patrick Laine and such trivial things as goaltenders wanting to stop pucks is of no concern to him.

Many fans couldn’t watch a good chunk of the game due to TSN Go app issues (be glad it was a preseason game or else there would have been some real anger there TSN!) but the ones that did get to watch saw a pretty entertaining game for the most part.

One concern may be the health of Andrew Copp who blocked a shot in the first period, seemed to be in great distress and left the game.
