JGD: Finnish the Weekend Strong

Dec 11, 2016, 17:33 ESTUpdated: Invalid DateTime
They hid him last time, but there’s no escaping now. Patrik Laine and Jesse Puljujarvi will finally face off for the first time in the NHL tonight, finally deciding once and for all who will have the better career.
…wait, he’s hurt? This is never going to happen, is it?
The Jets

Same group as Calgary, though the order has been rearranged. Laine’s line remains the exact same, but after that, there’s a lot of shuffling, even in positions. It’ll be neat to see how this all plays out.
The Oilers

The good news is that Edmonton’s fourth line is easily exploitable, as is half of their defence. Dillon Simpson is a very raw call up, for example, and his AHL time in Bakersfield that led up to this isn’t even worth talking about.
Starting Goaltenders
Cam Talbot, perhaps Edmonton’s non-McDavid saving grace, starts for the Oilers. Winnipeg looks to Connor Hellebuyck for this one.
Where To Watch
Usual spot, usual situation; you can catch this attempt to bounce back from that disappointing 6-2 loss to Calgary on TSN3. Puck drop is at 8:30 PM.
