The Christmas break is over and the Winnipeg Jets resume play by looking to get back to .500 hockey or what kind of resembles .500 hockey as we know it’s not “true .500 hockey” because with regulation losses and.. ya know what, never mind.. 

They don’t get to ease back into things either as they are taking on the division leading Chicago Blackhawks in Chicago.

Game Prediction: The Jets have actually had some decent success against the Hawks this season as they’ve won in their previous two meetings this season. That means the Hawks are likely due right? Chicago wins 5-3

Obvious Prediction: Jon Toews is back and will be fired up to get back in the action which you won’t notice because the man has a stone face and rarely shows emotions.

Not So Obvious Prediction: In a brutal twist, the Jets will play pretty well in the first and second periods, but it’ll be the typically reliable third period that is the scene of their undoing.
