Icethetics confirmed on Twitter today that the Winnipeg Jets’ third jersey design that was floating around the internet is, in fact, accurate. Here’s what the Jets are going to be rocking as their alternates next year:

This new jersey features the wordmark that the Jets recently started using on their helmets. it also features some franchise branding as the inside of the collar says “We Are The True North.”

It’s certainly a different look than Winnipeg’s current home and away set. In my opinion, the hand-written wordmark style as the crest is a nice decision, but this is an incredibly boring jersey. It’s a nice start, but something just seems to be missing. It looks like a practice jersey.
