No, this isn’t another trade announcement.
Instead, the National Hockey League revealed its three stars from the past week, which includes Winnipeg Jets forward @Kyle Connor.
Thanks to Connor’s stellar performance, the 2021-22 All-Star has been named the league’s second star of the week ending on Mar. 20, with defenceman @Roman Josi taking home the first star and forward @Lawson Crouse earning the third.
In total, Connor, 25, finished this past week with an impressive two goals and eight points in just a trio of games. Most recently, the 6’1″ winger registered new career-highs in goals (39) and points (77) during his club’s latest 6-4 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks.
Overall, the Michigan native has logged 21:49 minutes of ice-time per game, posting 39 goals and 77 points across 63 contests this season. Additionally, he’s also recorded a career-high 272 shots on goal, 48 takeaways, 30 hits and 17 blocks.
Winnipeg is scheduled to host the Vegas Golden Knights on Tuesday, beginning at 7:00 pm CT.
