Along with having a representative at the 2022 NHL All-Star Game, the Winnipeg Jets will also feature a participant in this weekend’s Fastest Skater competition, forward @Kyle Connor.
As per ESPN’s Greg Wyshynski, Connor has been named as one of the eight members competing in this year’s event, which will be headlined by three-time champion @Connor McDavid.
Connor, 25, will be attending his first career All-Star Game this weekend, where he’ll look to add to his already impressive 2021-22 performance.
Through 41 games this season, the 6’1″ forward currently leads Winnipeg in goals (25), assists (20) and points (45). Additionally, he’s also posted 184 shots on goal, 36 takeaways, 17 hits and nine blocks while averaging 21:34 minutes of ice-time per game.
The 2022 NHL All-Star skills competition will begin Friday at 6:30 pm CT.
