Everyone loves the pomp and hype of a home opener and the Jets come into this home opener with all kinds of hype and you can just get feel the excitement as the 2018-19 edition of the Winnipeg Jets were introduced onto the ice before Tuesday’s contest.
In case you didn’t have a chance to catch the player introductions, or you just want to see the boys greeted by the Winnipeg faithful yet again, here it is, voice by the incomparable Jay Richardson.

A couple of things to note here…
- How great are the additional notes for award and playoff accolades for the likes of Blake Wheeler, Mark Scheifele and Connor Hellebuyck?
- Did Paul Maurice really get one of the loudest ovations on the night? It sure seems like it and his reaction to it may have been very worth it.

- How many of you saw Mathieu Perreault come out and forgot that the Jets had one more that needed to hit the ice? Rookie Kristian Vesalainen with his number change to number 93 before the season means he gets the honor of coming out last.
