@Winnipeg Jets captain @Blake Wheeler now has the Winnipeg Jets (and Atlanta Thrashers) record for most points by a player when he tied and then passed @Ilya Kovalchuk with a goal and an assist on Saturday afternoon in Minnesota.
Wheeler came into the game needing two points to take the outright lead and with a shorthanded goal in the first period against the Wild he tied the all-time mark at 615 points.
