JetsNation is looking for a few good Jets fans who strong opinions about hockey and the team they cheer for and aren’t afraid to share them!
We’re looking for people to help cover the actual games with both pre and post game coverage, but what we are really looking for are fans and writers who want to share their opinions and thoughts about the team. If you enjoy getting deep into the numbers of the game with advanced stats and metrics being your thing, your work will certainly be welcomed here. If you have a keen eye for picking out fun stories about the Jets – both on social media and their work in the community – and you want to highlight it, we’d love to hear from you.
And we’re not just limiting ourselves to the Winnipeg Jets! Maybe talking about the AHL Manitoba Moose or the WHL Winnipeg Ice is something that appeals to you more? You’re more than welcome to share your thoughts and insights into those teams with us.

Please note:

  • This is a volunteer position to start. Opportunities for payment though will be available in the future through bonuses and other possible means.
  • We’ll be looking for people who can produce content at the very least 2-4 times a month (bi-weekly), but more will always be welcome.
  • Being familiar with WordPress is a big benefit, but not required.
Our goal with JetsNation is to be the voice of Winnipeg hockey fans and we’d like more people – male and female of all ethnicities – to be a part of it. So are you interested? Here’s what I’ll need from you to start…
  • Your name (of course)
  • Twitter Handle (if applicable)
  • A little bit about yourself (don’t just let us know you’re a Jets fan, surely you must have other interests..)
  • What kind of content would you like to create for JetsNation? (Don’t be afraid to suggest something not even listed here… We’re open to all kinds of ideas!)
  • A sample of your work be it previously published or newly created

If this all sounds like something you want in on, be sure to e-mail us at JetsNationNHL@gmail.com or contact us through  Twitter either on @NHLJetsNation or @GameTimeArt
