The Winnipeg Jets have delivered betting value recently when the odds are stacked against them on the road.

The Jets, who are coming off a 4-0 home defeat against the Colorado Avalanche on Tuesday, are 10-4 in their last 14 road games as an underdog of +125 or more on the moneyline at online betting sites. The Panthers are 9-9 in their last 18 home games when they have gone deeper than -140 into minus money. The total has gone OVER in the Panthers’ last four home games against the Western Conference.

The Jets are 10-8-1 so far this season, although they are performing slightly better away from home where they are 5-3-0. Whether Winnipeg can continue its road-underdog trend depends on whether an attack led by Mark Scheifele and Blake Wheeler can, at least for one night, match up with the high-scoring Panthers. Panthers No. 1 goalie Sergei Bobrovsky, who is 6-3-4 with a 3.52 goals-against average and .881 save percentage, got an early hook against Boston on Tuesday. Sam Montembeault, who is 3-1-1 with a 2.96 goals-against average and .903 save percentage, backstopped Florida to the comeback win against the Bruins.
The Jets continue their four-game road trip against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday.
