With 6 points in 4 games, 4 power play goals, and his first career hat trick. Jack Roslovic has been named the NHL’s first star of the week of February 3rd. The first time in his young career reaching the honour.
Roslovic tied for first in the league in scoring that week with fellow star, Mika Zibanejad. Roslovic scored Winnipeg’s only goal in the 3-1 loss to the Flyers early in the week.
Held off the score sheet against Boston the following game Jack helped the Jets turn the tide against Columbus by tying the game at 3, leading to a 4-3 OT win for the Peg.
Then Anaheim came for dinner on Saturday. On the menu? Roast Duck. After Andrew Copp opened the scoring Jack Roslovic comes to the table and notches his first career hat trick and first career 4 goal game, helping bring the Jets to an overwhelming 9-3 win over Anaheim.
With all 4 goals this week being power play markers, Jack Roslovic has turned into what every jets fan had hoped. A power play magician that’s fit seamlessly onto the 2nd line with Bryan Little and Patrik Laine. Only to raise the question on what to do when Nik Ehlers returns to the lineup.
