Be sure to check Betway to check out the latest Jets game day odds and bet on the NHL! The Winnipeg Jets (13-8-2) conclude their home stand tonight with a match-up against the Carolina Hurricanes (14-8-1) in the debut game for the 1948 RCAF jerseys.
The Jets are coming off a 3-1 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks which ended their three-game losing streak.
One of the huge lineup changes was Declan Chisholm who filled in for Nate Schmidt. The young defender recorded his first NHL point against Chicago which was an assist on Cole Perfetti’s career high ninth goal of the season. Chisholm will stay in the lineup and will play in tonight’s game against Carolina.
Vlad Namestnikov will most likely miss tonight due to a nagging lower body injury. Thus lines will be the same as they were against the Black Hawks. Head coach Rick Bowness would say that he would be ready to game in the first game of the road trip against the Colorado Avalanche.

JETS NATION PRESENTED BY BETWAY

Laurent Brossoit will get the start in net for the Jets. He last played in a 3-2 regulation loss against the Nashville Predators where he stopped 23 of 26 shots.
The Hurricanes are second in the Metro division with 29 points.
Antti Raanta will get the start in net for Carolina. He has a .854 save percentage and a 6-3-0 record so far this season. The Canes goalie has a 2-4-0 record against the Jets in his career. Sebastian Aho is leading the team in points with 22, Teuvo Teravainen leads in goals with 11.
If the Jets are looking to bump up their power play numbers they could make a gain on that tonight as the Hurricanes have a weaker penalty kill (76.9). That is 21 in the NHL.
