the latest in news and play for the Winnipeg Jets (non-AHL) prospects.
We dig into all the game reports from the CHL, NCAA, and Europe to let
you know how all of your future favourites are progressing.

  • Nikolaj Ehlers ended off the year with 2 assists in 3 games, a -1, 4 PIMs and 10 shots on goal. Halifax finishes 12th in the QMJHL and will face Shawinigan in the playoffs.
  • Nic Petan finishes his final 4 games with 4 points (2 goals, 2 assists), a +4 and 4 PIMs. In the US Division, the Portland Winterhawks finished in 2nd place and will face the Seattle Thunderbirds in the playoffs. Check out his slick backhand.
  • Jimmy Lodge finishes his regular season with 2 more games, earning 1 assist, a -1 and 2 PIMs. Mississauga did not qualify for the OHL Playoffs but he was 1 of 2 Jets Prospects to earn an ELC this past week.
  • Chase de Leo finishes his final 4 games with 2 goals, 4 assists and a -2.
  • Brendan Lemieux did not play a game this week while his Barrie Colts will be playing the Belleville Bulls in the playoffs.
  • Axel Blomqvist finishes off his WHL season with 3 games where he scored 1 goal and 1 assist and found a -1. His Moose Jaw Warriors will not advance to the WHL post-season.
  • Joshua Morrissey did not play a game again this week while rehabbing his injury. His Kelowna Rockets are the top team in the WHL West and will play Eric Comrie’s Tri-City Americans in the post-season.
  • Jan Kostalek finished the season with 7 PIMs in his last 3 games along with a +5 and 5 shots on goal. Rimouski finishes as the top team in the league and will face 16th ranked Victoriaville in the playoffs.  Kostalek was also signed to an ELC by the Jets.
  • Nelson Nogier had an exciting week scoring 1 goal, earning a +1 and 4 PIMs. Red Deer also made the playoffs and will face the Medicine Hat Tigers.

  • Andrew Copp finishes his final 3 games with 1 assist, a -2 and 6 shots on goal. In the Big 10 tournament Michigan beat Wisconsin 5-1 and then Michigan State 4-1 before losing to Minnesota 2-4. They did not earn a bid to the NCAA finals.
  • C.J. Franklin played 2 games this week scoring 1 goal, earning a +1 and 4 shots on goal. Minnesota State won the WCHA Conference tournament and will be playing in the NCAA Midwest Regionals.
  • Tucker Poolman played 2 games this week scoring 2 assists, earning a -2 and 2 shots on goal. North Dakota lost 3-1 to St. Cloud State in the NCHC Semi-Finals but will be hosting the West Regionals.
  • Matt Ustaski did not
    play a game this week. Wisconsin lost
    1-5 in the quarter finals of the Big Ten Tournament to Michigan and did not
    advance.
  • Peter Stoykewych and
    Aaron Harstad did not play this week and both have signed an ATO with
    Winnipeg’s AHL Affiliate the IceCaps. 
    Colorado College was eliminated last week by North Dakota.
  • Tanner Lane did not
    play either as Omaha was eliminated by St. Cloud State last week.  They did receive an At-large bid into the
    NCAA finals
  • Brennan Serville earned 2 shots on goal in his last 3 games with Michigan.
  • Jack Glover played 2
    games this past week with nothing to show for it. Minnesota won the Big Ten Men’s Ice Hockey
    Tournament and advanced to the NCAA finals.

  • Alexander Burmistrov

    shots. He was a tad under 50% in the faceoff
    circle and played a little over 15 minutes a game. His Ak Bars have moved to the KHL Eastern
    final winning their conference semi-final 4-1.
  • Ivan Telegin did not
    play this week. CSKA also moved to the
    Western Conference Final.
  • Marcus Karlstrom played
    2 more games this week in Sweden’s Division 1 but did not score any points.
  • Pavel Kraskovsky
    played in 2 playoffs games this week scoring 4 assists with 4 shots on goal.
