Welcome back to another weeks edition of Future NHEhlers where we review all the latest in news and play for the Winnipeg Jets (non-AHL) prospects. We dig into all the game reports from the CHL, NCAA, and Europe to let you know how all of your future favourites are progressing.

  • Nikolaj Ehlers had a “disappointing” week having played in three games and not scoring a single goal. To make it up he scored 6 assists, earned a +2, 4 PIMs and 16 shots on goal.
  • Nicolas Petan was seen in 3 games with Portland this week where he scored a goal and 6 assists (including 4 in one game), to earn himself a nice +8.
  • Jimmy Lodge had a light week playing in only one game, after returning from a suspension for abuse of an official, earning 2 assists, a -3 and 2 PIMs.
  • Chase De Leo had a relatively quiet week. Despite appearing in 3 games, he only scored 1 assist and earned a +2.
  • Brendan Lemieux was truculent as ever, playing in 3 games, scoring 2 goals, and earning 3 assists to match a +4 and 2 PIMs.
  • One goal and 4 assists were scored by the friendly giant, Axel Blomqvist, over a span of 4 games. He also earned a +3 in that time.
  • Playing for the elite Kelowna Rockets, Joshua Morrisey scored 3 goals and 1 assist in 3 games to earn a +1 and 6 PIMs.
  • Jan Kostalek suited up for 3 games where he scored 1 goal and 2 assists along side a +1, 2 PIMs and 11 shots on goal.
  • Nelson Nogier was credited with a grand total of 2 assists and 8 PIMs for this week.

  • Andrew Copp played in one Michigan game this week where he notched 1 shot on goal.
  • No games were played by C.J. Franklin this week.
  • Tucker Poolman was in 2 games with North Dakota this week scoring an assist, finding a +3 and notching 3 shots on goal. He is currently playing out of position as their first line left-winger.
  • No games for Matt Ustaski this week.
  • Brendan Serville played in 2 Michigan games where he earned a +1 and 2 shots on goal.
  • Tanner Lane skated in 2 Omaha games where he earned a -1 and 2 shots on goal.
  • Peter Stoykewych skated in 2 games for Colorado College where he scored 1 goal off of one shot and was a -1.
  • Aaron Harstad skated in the same 2 games, was a -3 and found 2 shots on net.
  • Big week for Jack Glover who earned 1 assist and a +1 in 1 game. Like Poolman, Glover has also been playing out of position as a forward.

  • Alexander Burmistrov played in 3 games where he earned a +1, 3 shots on goal and played a little over a 15 minute average a game.  Burmistrov’s name has come up a number of times as we approach the trade deadline with the Leafs having interest in trying to acquire him for cheap.
  • Ivan Telegin skated in 3 games, earning a -1, 8 shots on goal and saw his ice time increase.
  • Marcus Karlstrom continues to play in Sweden’s Division 1 (3rd tier) and has scored 5 points in 13 games.
  • Pavel Kraskovsky scored a hat trick in his one game this week earning a +2 and 2 PIMs with 5 shots on goal.
