  • Nikolaj
Ehlers has wrapped up the first round of the playoffs in 7 games and Halifax (3rd
in possession estimates) moving on to face Moncton (7th in
    possession estimates). This week Ehlers
has 2 goals, 6 assists, 24 shots on goal, 10 PIMs and a +3.  Check out the Ehlers bobbleheadno wonder he won the QMJHL’s Personality of the Year!
  • Nicolas
Petan played in 3 games this week scoring 3 goals, 2 assists with a +3 and 6
    PIMs. The Winterhawks (12th
in possession estimates) beat Seattle in 6 games and are moving on to face
Everett (6th in possession estimates) in round 2. Check out Petan’s game 6 OT winner.
  • Fellow
Winterhawk Chase de Leo scored 1 goal, 5 assists, and earned 2 PIMs this week.
  • Brendan
Lemieux has not yet played in the OHL playoffs this year. Barrie (11th in possession) swept
Belleville in the first round and is now facing North Bay (2nd in
    possession) in the second round.
  • Joshua
Morrissey has not yet returned from his injury although is expected to be back soon. Kelowna (5th in team possession estimates) have swept
Tri-Cities and are facing Victoria (17th in team possession) in the
    2nd round.
  • Jan
Kostalek played 1 game this week scoring 1 goal and earning a +4.  Rimouski (2nd in estimates
possession) swept Victoriaville in the first round and is moving on to face
Gatineau (10th in est. possession) in the second round.  Kostalek was named the QMJHL’s Defencemen of the Year.

      • Eric Comrie
and his Tri-City Americas were eliminated in 4 games this week with Comrie
making 66 saves in his final match on the year. With a 4.22 GAA, and “not made the World Juniors Starter”, it is clear
that Comrie is not a clutch performer. He even only finished
         13th in the
goaltender save percentage standings in the playoffs
. (Editors note: This is Josh’s form of sarcasm)
