After what seemed like an endless wait, the Winnipeg Jets have finally unveiled their new jerseys to the hockey world today.
The picture above is courtesy the club’s twitter feed. The laundry actually looks strikingly similar to a the fakes that were recently seized prior to the official reveal. The only real difference seems to be the arm-bands on each sleeve.
Now that you have your team name and jersey Winnipeg, there’s only one thing left to do – see them in action.
Uninspiring, combination of the HNIC jersey and the RCAF. While one can appreciate the homage to the military…the jerseys in themselves are quite plain. Definitely no wow factor.
Pretty plain jerseys. If you ask me, these would have been much better : http://cargocollective.com/davidson#1555671/The-Winnipeg-Jets
Growing up in NW Ontario I looked forward to the new team. Glad they’re called the Jets. But the logo is …the jersey… Won’t be buying one. Really looks like they just did it quickly. Military is important, but these would be good 3rd jerseys.
Great idea, but very boring. The front logo should have been the shoulder logos and with something as cool as a jet, there should have been something more appealing for sales. Something with power along the lines of this logo:

I like the jersey. It gives the feel that the Jets and their ownership mean business. It looks like a jersey that a Stanley Cup winner could wear someday, unlike some of the teams in the NHL wearing flashier ones.
