The NHL has officially released the full 2025-26 regular season schedule, and Winnipeg Jets fans can now circle the dates that matter most across the 82-game campaign.
The Jets will open their season at Canada Life Centre on Thursday, October 9th, in a rematch of last spring’s heated second-round playoff series against the Dallas Stars. Just a few days later, Winnipeg hits the road for the first time, taking on the New York Islanders at UBS Arena on October 13th in a Monday matinee.
One of the season’s most anticipated matchups comes on October 26th, when the newly minted Utah Mammoth make their first-ever visit to Winnipeg under the new name. And to close out October, Connor Bedard and the Chicago Blackhawks roll into town on October 30th.
The team’s longest homestand spans eight games from March 3–17, while their longest road swing takes place from November 4–15, with six games against Pacific Division opponents. Winnipeg will pause for a 20-day break between February 5–24 to accommodate the 2026 Winter Olympics.
In terms of rivalries, the Jets will face their fellow Canadian teams 15 times this season — seven at home and eight on the road. Their first home clash against a Canadian club comes on October 24th versus the Calgary Flames. Notable Canadian matchups in Winnipeg include the Edmonton Oilers (Dec. 29, Jan. 8), Ottawa Senators (Dec. 15), Toronto Maple Leafs (Jan. 17), Montreal Canadiens (Feb. 4), and Vancouver Canucks (Mar. 7).
Winnipeg will play 26 games against their Central Division rivals, including four each against Chicago, Colorado, Dallas, Minnesota, and St. Louis, and three games against Nashville and Utah. They’ll meet each Pacific Division team three times and will face all 16 Eastern Conference teams once — both home and away.
January and March are the Jets’ busiest months, featuring 16 games in each. The club will also play nine back-to-back sets, including four on the road, three at home, and two split between home and away. Saturdays remain the busiest game day, with Winnipeg scheduled to play 18 times on hockey’s traditional night.
Broadcast details will be announced in the coming weeks, but fans can expect the majority of games to air on TSN3 and the TSN app, with select matchups on Hockey Night in Canada, Rogers Sportsnet, and Amazon Prime. As always, fans can catch every game on 680 CJOB and Power 97 through the Jets’ radio broadcast.
