The Winnipeg Jets have signed Quinton Howden to a one-year, two-way contract. Howden’s NHL salary will be $650,000.
Howden spent most of last season as a fourth-line player for the Florida Panthers. Prior to this he spent most of his time in the AHL, where the 6’2 forward put up 75 points in 149 games. He adds competition for the Jets fourth line, but more likely is a player for some much needed scoring for the Moose. Howden has played both centre and wing over his AHL career.

Come back later for a more in-depth look to Howden.
