The Winnipeg Jets have signed goaltender Laurent Brossoit to a one-year contract extension, TSN’s Darren Dreger reported.
Brossoit, 27, signed with the Jets as a free agent in 2018 and has backed up Connor Hellebuyck over that time. He’s appeared in 40 games for the Jets posting a 19-13-3 record and a .912 save percentage.
This past year he had some struggles with a 6-7-1 record and a .895 save percentage.
His new deal, according to Dreger, will see him get paid $1.5-million for the lone year.
