The Winnipeg Jets have unveiled the official schedule for when they’ll wear their popular Heritage jerseys during the 2025–26 NHL season, giving fans 13 chances to see the team in action wearing the fan-favorite alternate look.
Inspired by the franchise’s rich history and classic style, the Heritage jersey will make its first appearance during a back-to-back home stand, starting October 23 against the Seattle Kraken and continuing the following night, October 24, versus the Calgary Flames (my birthday!).
The Jets will also sport the alternate threads on October 26 when they host the league’s newest franchise, the Utah Mammoth, marking a historic first meeting between the two clubs—while wearing a jersey that celebrates Winnipeg’s hockey history.
Known for their clean design and nods to the original WHA Jets, the Heritage jerseys remain a symbol of pride for the team and its supporters.

- December 9 vs Dallas Stars
- December 11 vs Boston Bruins
- December 13 vs Washington Capitals

- March 14 vs Colorado Avalanche
- March 15 vs St. Louis Blues
- March 17 vs Nashville Predators
This year, the Jets will wear the Heritage jersey in one more game than last season, which featured 12 appearances. The schedule is also spaced out differently, with November, February, and April not featuring a Heritage game—making each appearance feel even more special.
Over the years, some fans have suggested making the Heritage jersey the main home uniform, but would it still feel “Heritage” if it were worn every night? Keeping it as an alternate makes it unique, and there’s nothing wrong with the current home jerseys.
