Winnipeg Jets prospects set to appear at Draft Party at Canada Life Centre

Winnipeg Jets fans will have the opportunity to come together in downtown Winnipeg to watch the 2026 NHL Draft.
The Jets announced on May 19 that the club will host an NHL Draft Party at Canada Life Centre on Friday, June 26, when the Jets make the eighth overall selection. Notably, Jets prospects Brayden Yager (2023 first-round pick), Colby Barlow (2023 first-round pick), and Sascha Boumedienne (2025 first-round pick), along with Jets Alumni and Friends, will attend the event for autograph signings and a hot stove session.
Tickets went on sale last Friday, with each $20 ticket including a soda, water, or Budweiser beverage, a meal, and a 2026 NHL Draft souvenir. An exclusive 48-hour pre-sale for Season Ticket Members began last Wednesday at 10 a.m. CT, offering discounted ticket prices. Everyone in attendance will also be entered into grand prize draws for either two tickets to the 2026 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic or two tickets to the 2026 Alumni Game.
The event will be hosted by Jets public address announcer Jay Richardson and will feature DJs, a Jets Gear pop-up, and giveaways throughout the night, including Jets merchandise and event tickets. Food and beverages will also be available for purchase on the event floor. Doors open at 5 p.m., with the Draft beginning at 6 p.m.
This year’s draft will be held in Buffalo at KeyBank Center, home of the Buffalo Sabres, coincidentally the same venue that hosted the event in 2016. The first round will take place on June 26, followed by rounds two through seven on June 27. Similar to the decentralized format used during the 2025 NHL Draft, teams will operate out of their home markets. The Jets currently hold seven selections, including one pick in the first, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth rounds, along with two seventh-round picks.
