Winnipeg Jets make first cuts of the 2024-25 training camp

The Winnipeg Jets announced today they have made their first cuts of the 2024-25 training camp.
Training camp began last week with a total of 53 players on the roster. After a week of skating and two pre-season games that number will significantly be reduced as Winnipeg have made the following moves:
To Manitoba Moose:
– Chaz Lucius (F)
– Henri Nikkanen (F)
– Danny Zhilkin (F)
Back to junior teams:
– Kevin He (F)
– Jacob Julien (F)
– Connor Levis (F)
– Markus Loponen (F)
– Kieron Walton (F)
Released from their PTOs:
– Dylan Anhorn (D)
– Dawson Barteaux (D)
– Ashton Sautner (D)
– Ben King (F)
All 4 players released from their PTOs have contracts in the AHL and will be attending Moose training camp.
The Jets now have 23 forwards, 13 defensemen, and five goalies remaining at training camp.
