Winnipeg Jets Draft Johnathan Kovacevic 74th Overall

With the 74th overall selection in the 2017 NHL Draft, the Jets select Defenseman Johnathan Kovacevic from Merrimack College in Hockey East.
Kovacevic, 19, is a native of Niagara Falls, Ontario, and is a right shot defenseman. The 6’4″, 208lb d-man put up 19 points (3 goals, 16 assists) for Merrimack last season. He was ranked 155th among North American skaters by NHL Central Scouting.
