Welcome back to another edition of Throwback Thursday!
This week in 2017 (Oct. 29), Blake Wheeler notched a hat trick in 4 minutes and 20 seconds against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Wheeler’s goals all came in the first period, one that saw the Jets take a 5-0 lead.
His first goal was scored at the 13:58 mark with assists to Mark Scheifele and Kyle Connor. Goal two game at the 17:44 mark with assists to Shawn Matthias and Scheifele.
He capped it off with a goal at the 18:18 mark assisted by Connor.
The Jets went on to win the game 7-1.
