Prospect Vids: Kyle Connor records 3 points in his Michigan debut

Kyle Connor’s debut with Michigan is one to be remembered. The freshman scored 2 goals and 1 assist, leading his new team to a 6-4 victory over Mercyhurst University.
His first point, an assist, came on the opening goal. Connor deflected a point shot that was then picked up by teammate Boo Nieves. Connor would would score later in the 1st period, stealing the puck for a shorthanded breakaway goal. What a way to get your first, eh? He would go on to score an empty net goal on a blind backhand shot to seal the victory.

Kyle Connor was drafted in the 1st round, 17th overall by the Winnipeg Jets in 2015. His speed, skating ability, agility and powerful shot made him the USHL player of the year for 2014-15 with the Youngstown Phantoms.
