The Winnipeg Jets will wrap up their 2025 preseason schedule tonight when they visit the Calgary Flames at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
While preseason results don’t impact the standings, the Jets will be looking to head into next Thursday’s regular season opener on a high note with at least two exhibition wins under their belt. A victory tonight could provide some extra confidence to carry forward.
On Tuesday, Winnipeg dropped a 3-2 decision to the Minnesota Wild at Grand Casino Arena, surrendering two unanswered goals in the second period. Cole Koepke and Vladislav Namestnikov found the back of the net for the Jets, while Connor Hellebuyck stopped 16 of 19 shots in his first preseason action.
Hellebuyck is slated to make his second straight start this evening, and the Jets will dress a roster that more closely resembles what we can expect on opening night. Notably absent are Jonathan Toews (lower-body injury) and Dylan Samberg (broken wrist).
Here are the players for the final game of the preseason confirmed with the release of the roster by the Jets:
Forwards (17): Vladislav Namestnikov, Alex Iafallo, Gabriel Vilardi, Gustav Nyquist, Jonathan Toews, Parker Ford, Morgan Barron, David Gustafsson, Cole Koepke, Mark Scheifele, Nino Niederreiter, Tanner Pearson, Walker Duehr, Kyle Connor, Nikita Chibrikov, Cole Perfetti, Brad Lambert
Defence (8): Dylan DeMelo, Neal Pionk, Luke Schenn, Colin Miller, Haydn Fleury, Ville Heinola, Josh Morrissey, Logan Stanley
Goalies (3): Connor Hellebuyck, Eric Comrie, Domenic DiVincentiis
Projected lineup (subject to change):
Connor – Scheifele – Vilardi
Nyquist – Namestnikov – Perfetti
Niederreiter – Barron – Iafallo
Koepke – Ford – Pearson
Morrissey – DeMelo
Stanley – Pionk
Fleury – Schenn
