NHL Young Stars tournament cancelled

What was supposed to be a chance for young Winnipeg Jets prospects to come together will be no more.
The annual young stars tournament has been cancelled, the Vancouver Canucks announced Thursday.
Scheduled to take place Sept. 11-15 in Penticton featuring top prospects from the Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers, Canucks and Jets, the event has been postponed to a later date.
In January, the event had been announced but COVID-19 forced the tournament to not go forth.
The Oilers and Flames had pulled out of the tournament in 2018 which left fans with the ability to just watch the Canucks and Jets prospects battle it out. Last year, the tournament didn’t happen at all citing a lack of NHL participants.
