<p class="" data-start="456" data-end="693">Each NHL team selected one nominee. The final winner will be chosen by a selection committee consisting of NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman, former King Clancy Memorial Trophy winners, and past recipients of the NHL Foundation Player Award.</p>
<p class="" data-start="695" data-end="815">The committee will consider a nominee’s inspiration, involvement, and impact when determining this season&#8217;s winner.</p>
<p class="" data-start="817" data-end="1061">The player selected will receive a $25,000 donation to a charity or charities of his choice. Additionally, he may opt to have his club receive a grant of up to $20,000 from the NHL to support a community initiative related to his cause.</p>
