Last Sunday the Winnipeg Jets pulled off their first victory after a six game losing skid. Now the Jets look to build off their win this evening against the Minnesota Wild at the MTS Center. 
Tonight’s matchup is round four of five between the two teams, with the Jets being 1-1-1 against the Wild. In their combined three games against each other, the Jets have out possessed the Wild for 5v5 situations, but the Wild have outscored and out shot the Jets.
The Wild enter tonight’s contest as the hottest team in the NHL, on a 6 game win streak and a 8-1-1 record over their last ten games. The Jets will be looking to play the role of regression, as while Devin Dubnyk is a highly underrated goaltender, a 0.940 save percentage cannot last forever.

LINES

Winnipeg 

With Evander Kane out long-term after having surgery, the Jets depth has taken a large hit and hoping for some relief from Kevin Cheveldayoff soon. Lowry is expected to return after being held out for illness reasons last game.
Dustin Byfuglien still sits in a forward despite his elite presences on the blue line being gravely missed.
Michael Hutchinson is expected to start as Paul Maurice resumes his rotation. Hutchinson has a record of 14-7-3 this season, with 2.33 GAA and .923 SV%. 
Minnesota 

Zach Parise leads the Wild in goals (21) and points (40), while Jason Pominville leads in assists (29).
The Wild’s blueline looks a bit better than norm, with Yeo going for youth and skill over some other previous options.
Devin Dubnyk is expected to start. The goaltender has single handily revitalized the Wild’s playoff chances, going 8-1-0 with a 0.940 save percentage and a 1.49 goals against average.

Predictions 

Game Day Predictions: Jets out possess but get out-shot by the Wild. Still, the Jets win (always predict Jets win).
Obvious Predictions: The Jets are penalized more than they draw… as unfortunately always.
Not So Obvious Predictions: Minnesota fans weep while watching Jacob Trouba, who was selected by the Jets just barely after the Wild chose Matthew Dumba.

Breaking News
