The Jets will embark on a four-game road trip — all against Central Division opponents — starting Tuesday night against the Minnesota Wild.
Coming off back-to-back losses, the Jets have dropped three of their last four games heading into their match against the Wild.
In their only previous meeting this season, Winnipeg edged Minnesota 5-4 on Oct. 25.
“It’s always big points up for grabs when you’re playing teams from in your division,” forward Bryan Little told the Jets website. “They’re always tight games (against Minnesota) and we’re looking to start the trip off right.”

WINNIPEG (8-5-2)
The Jets will receive a boost up front with the return of Andrew Copp, who has been sidelined since Oct. 31 with an upper-body injury. To make room for Copp’s return, the Jets reassigned Patrice Cormier to the AHL’s Manitoba Moose.
Blake Wheeler leads the Jets in scoring six goals and 11 assists in 15 games.
Dustin Byfuglien loves to play the Wild. In 26 career games against Minnesota, the six-foot-five all-star defenceman has six goals and 15 assists.
Jets coach Paul Maurice has yet to announce his starting goalie but according to the Winnipeg Free Press’ Paul Wiececk, all signs point to Ondrej Pavelec getting the call between the pipes.

MINNESOTA (8-3-2)

The Wild will be without top goal scorer Zach Parise, who is nursing a sprained MCL in his right knee.
Minnesota did recall winger Kurtis Gabriel and he will make his NHL debut against the Jets.
Marco Scandella, away from the team for personal reasons, is not expected to play on Tuesday night.
Defenseman Nate Prosser will take Scandella’s spot in the lineup. Ryan Suter has five points in his last five games and ranks second in team scoring (2 goals, 9 assists).
Devan Dubnyk (8-3-1-1) has started the Wild’s last games and is coming off a shutout performance against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Predictions

Game Day Prediction: Five of the last times these teams have met, the games have been decided by one goal. Expect another tight one. Jets 2 Wild 1
Obvious Prediction: The Jets rank fourth in the league in goals for this season. The goals won’t come as easy against Dubnyk — the 2015 Vezina nominee.
Not So Obvious Prediction: In their last meeting, Minnesota scored 10 seconds into the game, setting the record for fastest goal in Wild history. Let’s see if the Jets can get under the 10 second mark tonight. Never know.
