JETS RECALL PATRICE CORMIER FROM ST. JOHN’S

Dec 28, 2014, 18:10 ESTUpdated:
The Winnipeg Jets have recalled forward Patrice Cormier from the St. John’s IceCaps of the American Hockey League.
Inside we’ll look at why.
The Jets announced the call-up this afternoon.
WHY?
Well, during Saturday’s game in Minnesota, Evander Kane blocked a shot off his foot and appeared to be in some pain, but played through it. He did, however, miss practice this morning with a lower-body injury and is considered ”questionable” for Monday’s game versus the Wild, thus explaining the Cormier call-up from the IceCaps.
In 21 games with St. John’s this season, Cormier has scored 10 points (4 goals, 6 assists) and recorded 32 penalty minutes.
I will update this thread when more information becomes available.
