The Winnipeg Jets announced Tuesday morning that they have reached a new 5 year contract extension worth $41.25 million with their captain Blake Wheeler. The contract will make Wheeler the highest paid Jet, and will take him until he is 37. There is obviously some concern when paying a 37 year old player $8.25 million. The guys break down the pros and cons of the deal and look at the impact it will have on the team in the future.
