Jets, Moose extend affiliation with Admirals
The Winnipeg Jets, along with their AHL affiliate, the Manitoba Moose, announced they have extended their partnership with the Norfolk Admirals as the organization’s ECHL affiliate for the 2025-26 season.
Winnipeg draft picks Domenic DiVincentiis (7th round, 2022) and Thomas Milic (5th round, 2023) both played in Norfolk last season. In total, six players suited up for both the Moose and Admirals in 2024-25, including Ryan Chyzowski, DiVincentiis, Carson Golder, Milic, Graham Sward, and Ben Zloty.
The Admirals posted a 40-25-6-1 record in their ninth ECHL season and reached the second round of the Kelly Cup Playoffs for the second straight year. Norfolk begins its third season as Winnipeg’s ECHL affiliate on Friday, Oct. 17, when they visit the Savannah Ghost Pirates.
Bauer and Phillips clear waivers
On Tuesday, the Jets placed defencemen Tyrel Bauer and Isaak Phillips on waivers for reassignment to the Moose. Both cleared and will report to Manitoba.
Anderson-Dolan, Fagemo, Clague placed on waivers
The Jets continued trimming their roster with three additional moves. Forwards Jaret Anderson-Dolan and Samuel Fagemo, along with defenceman Kale Clague, were placed on waivers Wednesday, per PuckPedia.
Jets loan four prospects to Moose
Winnipeg also loaned four top prospects to Manitoba: Brayden Yager, Colby Barlow, Elias Salomonsson, and Thomas Milic.
Toews listed day-to-day
Jonathan Toews remains day-to-day after leaving Tuesday’s game against the Minnesota Wild in the second period. Head coach Scott Arniel said Toews “tweaked something,” with further evaluation expected later this week.
The Jets will wrap-up their 2025 preseason Friday night in Calgary at the Scotiabank Saddledome. Puck drop is set for 8:00 p.m. CDT and you can watch the game on TSN3.
