The Winnipeg Jets were determined to bounce back after an embarrassing effort in Vancouver, and they did just that—edging the Oilers 4-3 in overtime.
With the win, the Jets became the second team to reach 100 points this season (after WSH), doing so in just 72 games—the fastest pace in franchise history.
Cole Perfetti tied the game 1-1 with his 15th goal of the season, finding the back of the net for the second time in three games. Josh Morrissey later evened things up at two with a beautiful redirection off the rush from Nino Niederreiter, marking his 11th of the year. Brandon Tanev gave the Jets their first lead of the night, scoring his 10th of the campaign and his first as a Jet since returning to the team.
Edmonton forced overtime with a late equalizer, but Kyle Connor sealed the deal with his 37th of the season, securing the win at Rogers Place.

Connor Hellebuyck, despite not having his sharpest game, earned his 40th win of the season. He faced 23 shots and made 20 saves.
The Oilers were without Leon Draisaitl for the entire game and lost Connor McDavid for the third period and overtime due to what appeared to be a lower-body injury.
Winnipeg wrapped up its three-game road trip by collecting four of a possible six points, finishing with a 2-1-0 record. The Jets now hold a 10-point lead over the Dallas Stars, who sit second in the Central Division.
The game was locked at 2-2 for a long stretch until Tanev broke the tie, but there wasn’t much space out there. Both teams clogged up the middle, limiting chances and keeping the shot totals low.
The Jets now return home for an extended stay, kicking off a four-game homestand on Sunday against the Buffalo Sabres. Coverage begins at 1:30 p.m. CT on TSN3.
