Jets 2015 Trade Deadline: Snapshot of organizational depth

By Garret Hohl
Feb 28, 2015, 14:56 ESTUpdated: Invalid DateTime
When making decisions about moving or acquiring pieces, it is important to know what you have and what you don’t.
To help with this, I created an organizational depth chart for the Winnipeg Jets and your viewing pleasure.

Notes:
- The NHL depth is sorted by ice time per game while on the Jets, while I chose the order for the other categories
- The following players are unrestricted free agents this summer: Michael Frolik, Jiri Tlusty, Drew Stafford, Jim Slater, T.J. Galiardi, Matt Halischuk, Adam Pardy, Julien Brouillette, Will O`Neill, Peter Budaj
- The following players are restricted free agents this summer: Ben Chiarot, Paul Postma, Anthony Peluso, Carl Klingberg, Eric O`Dell, Patrice Cormier, Keaton Ellerby, Julian Melchiori, Jussi Olkinuora, John Albert, Patrick Holland, Ivan Telegin
- Note: Eric O`Dell will likely turn into an unrestricted free agent due to lack of games played, similar to Zach Redmond last season
- The Jets lose Arturs Kulda’s NHL rights this summer
- The following players will be moving to pro-level next year from the CHL, provided they don’t return for an over age year: Nic Petan, Jimmy Lodge, Joshua Morrissey, Jan Kostalek, Eric Comrie, Chase De Leo, Axel Blomqvist
- Note: Jimmy Lodge, Jan Kostalek, and Chase De Leo currently do not have contracts
- The following players will be graduating to pro-level next year from the NCAA: Peter Stoykewych, Aaron Harstad
- Note: Any NCAA player could potentially leave college and go pro-level
If there is any information missing, feel free to comment below and I will update.
