Winnipeg Jets prospect Jansen Harkins has been named to the American Hockey League all-star game.
The Manitoba Moose forward has tallied 31 points (7G, 24A) in 30 games this year. Harkins has been on recall with the Jets since Dec. 18, where he’s tallied two assists in six games.
Harkins has broken out this year with the Moose, having matched his AHL career high in points and has set a new career-high in assists — all in 40 less games than last year.
A 2015 second round pick, Harkins tallied 24 points in November — the most by an AHL player in a month since Dec. 2016.
The AHL all-star game takes place in Ontario, Calif. between Jan. 26-27.
