The Winnipeg Jets select centre Jordy Stallard, a local kid from Brandon, Manitoba, at 127th overall from the Calgary Hitmen of the WHL.
Here are some areas  was ranked as noted on eliteprospects:
At first glance Stallard doesn’t look like a strong scorer, with only 49 points in 68 games. However, the Hitmen actually struggled in scoring outside of one forward and their two top defenders. His SEAL-Adjusted Scoring was 59th for North American skaters, so there may be a bit of upside there.
At 6’2 Stallard also has some size, although he needs to fill out his frame quite a bit. He flashes offensive skills and can skate pretty well, but he struggles in the defensive zone both with and without the puck.
The one thing to note though is Stallard is only 3 days removed from being from the 2015 draft, so his results need to take into account that he’s one of the older players in the draft.
