KHL: Kovalchuk outdone, Slovan shutout, and Red Army rolls

Hey look! Fans cheering for hockey. I remember that.

Here are today's KHL highlights. SOme pretty notable games are missing. For example, we didn't do packs for Yakupov's team Neftekhimik, Malkin's team Magnitogorsk, Lupul's team Avtomobilist, etc, etc. There was a technical issue, but we still managed to make highlight packs for five of the games. To make it up to you, we will be doing packs for the important games we missed tomorrow, in edition to tomorrow's Dynamo Moscow vs Dinamo Riga game.

SKA gets into first place, fires their head coach, then loses. Weird.

Nikolai Zherdev, Anton Khudobin, and Viktor Stalberg take down the host city of the 2013 World Juniors.

Amur shuts out Slovan. Slovan had to travel from a part of Slovkia to a part of Russia that's pretty much next to Japan.

Red Army defears Novokuznetsk. Not really a shocker.

Ak Bars Kazan and their awesome name defeat Lokomotiv and take control of the KHL's east.

Am I blind or are there no highlights from the Yakupov 2 assist performance?
