Id be hard pressed to choose between Calgary and Edmonton’s young kids.

Of course, Calgary has useful veteran talent too, unlike Edmonton, which is why the Flames are demonstrably better.

But to be perfectly honest, I think the Jets have a better young talent pool than both

    • Joy S. Lee

I’m not sure there’s a lot of difference in the potential aspect of their prospect pools, collectively, when comparing all three. But you’re definitely right to include the Jets in there; they have about a 33% chance of being the best of the three. And I think that I’m in total agreement that what you are saying is that all three have deep pools of young talent.

You know, I think the Battle of Alberta is coming back in a big way, but Winnipeg always had a pretty terrific team way back when, too, and that whole scenario looks to be coming true all over again. Because of the baby-faced corps across all three of these closely related teams, the battles over the years promise to be exceptional. There is a lot of great hockey to look forward to in Western Canada, for sure, and it’s not going away any time soon. That’s cool to realize, actually, and long overdue.

May I be the first to say this ?
Lander fills Eberles spot. Letestu 3C Hendricks 4C
Or Draisaitl 3C with Purcell 2R

Leaves Slepyshev out but keeps 5 Centers and all PP / PK intact

    Pouliot RNH Lander
    Hall McD Draisitl / Purcell

    Am I crazy ?
