Not sure I really understand the whole “littering the ice with a jersey to show your displeasure” trend, but from Toronto, On. to Edmonton, Alta. it’s sweeping the nation this hockey season.
On Friday night, during Winnipeg’s overtime loss to the Chicago Blackhawks, some fan threw what appeared to be a newly purchased Evander Kane shirshey on the ice.
We won’t give this too much comment, because really, who cares? Suffice it to say that we can safely assume that the shirsey tossing fan is cheap (because they threw a shirsey, rather than a jersey) and also that they probably bought the last full-priced piece of Kane memorabilia in all of Manitoba.
