The Winnipeg Jets will continue their divisional road-trip tonight against the red-hot Dallas Stars.

The Jets have slipped in recent weeks, going 4-4-2 in their last 10 and dropping 4 of their last 5, including Tuesday night's thumping by the Minnesota Wild. The offense has dried up for the Jets in the month of November. During the month of October, the Jets averaged 3.27 goals for per game. In November, they have scored just 10 goals in 5 games.

While the NHL GMs meet in Toronto, perhaps Kevin Cheveldayoff can request that second periods be considered optional and we go straight to the third period.

It would have helped tonight as a decent road first period by Winnipeg was followed up by an absolute stinker of a second period and doomed the Jets to an eventual 5-3 loss against the Minnesota Wild.

The Jets will embark on a four-game road trip — all against Central Division opponents — starting Tuesday night against the Minnesota Wild.

Coming off back-to-back losses, the Jets have dropped three of their last four games heading into their match against the Wild.
