Brendan Lemieux looks to carve out 'a very specific' role with Jets

Brendan Lemieux, the son of Claude, turned heads with bone-crunching hits at the Penticton Young Stars tournament in 2015. He continued to impress with his truculent style at Winnipeg Jets main camp and into the preseason, nearly breaking camp with Winnipeg in his final season of junior eligibility. This year an older, more-mature Lemieux is looking to land a full-time NHL job.

The World Cup of hockey is soon underway and if you're a Jets fan, there's many reasons to watch the tournament.  Winnipeg has players on 4 of the tournaments 8 teams and have 7 players in total competing. The tournament is a showcase of the world's best talents going head to head in a format that is much more exciting and unique than the traditional olympic format.

May Len Kropioski, Jets super fan, Rest In Peace

The Winnipeg Jets family lost a beloved member this week. Len Kropioski, known as Kroppy to Jets fans, has died at the age of 98. Kroppy has been a fixture on the scoreboard at the MTS Centre, giving a salute, big smile, and a seal of approval with a thumbs up to the team and crowd after the anthem.
