The Winnipeg Jets are in the stretch run and a post-season berth is within reach.
The high-flying Jets -- winners of their past five games -- will try to make it six in a row on Tuesday night when they wrap up a mini Western road trip against the Vancouver Canucks.
With nine games left in the regular season, Winnipeg (38-23-12) holds the second wild-card spot in the Western Conference -- four points ahead of the Los Angeles Kings.
"We want to continue to keep this thing rolling," forward Drew Stafford told the Canadian Press after the Jets' 4-1 win over the Oilers. "We're not looking any further than tomorrow night against a desperate Vancouver team. They need the points as much as we do, the race is tight."

The Jets continue amassing wins and bring their current streak up to four-in-a-row.
The Winnipeg Jets went into Edmonton and turned the away game into a home game. They dominated early, got on the score board, and got the visiting Jets fans loud and excited.
The Jets brought it to the Oilers early, pouring the shots at Ben Scrivens. Eventually the dam collapsed, with Drew Stafford picking up his 16th of the season.
The Jets did not stop there. The momentarily put their foot off the gas, only to pick it up once again in the second. The Jets experienced long moments in the Oilers defensive zone and picked up another two goals, these from Lee Stempniak and Tyler Myers.
Early in the third Ryan Nugent-Hopkins scored his 23rd of the season, but it was too late. Michael Frolik scored the insurance goal with eight minutes remaining off of fortunate bounce.
Let's break it down.

The Winnipeg Jets are feeling really good heading into a two-game road trip that starts Monday night against the Edmonton Oilers.
Winners of four straight games, the Jets (37-23-12) have a cozy four-point lead over the Los Angeles Kings for the final wild-card spot in the Western Conference with just 10 games remaining.
That being said, Winnipeg can't take its foot off the gas pedal against the lowly Oilers.
"We believe we're going to make the playoffs, but it would be a mistake to be too high. We feel really good about ourselves, but that's it," Jets goalie Ondrej Pavelec told the Winnipeg Sun.
