I had the recent pleasure of taking part of the TSN Analytics show. The interview can be found here (the January 30th, 2016 episode) if you wish to take a listen.
The major questions they gave me were my opinion on the Evander Kane and Tyler Myers trade one year later, and also what do I think the Winnipeg Jets should do with Andrew Ladd and Dustin Byfuglien. There were also some untouched questions they preemptively emailed me about, when they sent me a list of possible topics.
I had researched and written a few points on each topic prior to the interview, and had promised on Twitter to expand on the discussions on the show.
So, here is my point form notes being expanded into far more in-depth, long-paragraph form...

We knew coming off the All-Star break that the Jets were in tough against the Central Division leading Dallas Stars, but the Jets didn't make things any easier on themselves with repeated stick infractions and blown defensive assignments that resulted in a 5-3 loss.
We now officially dub the last nine games: "The Homestand From Hell".

After an amazing All-Star weekend, it's time to get back to the grind.
For the Winnipeg Jets, that means a date with the Dallas Stars at the MTS Centre.
The Jets will continue a six-game home-stand, in which they are 1-3-0 so far. They lost the first three games before Nik Ehlers and the Jets exploded on the Arizona Coyotes in a 5-2 win before the All-Star break.

While Kyle Connor continues to produce points at a torrid pace, a couple other prospects managed to work their way out of scoring slumps. We look at how everyone performed this week in the prospects update.

After a memorable All-Star weekend, it's back to the reality and grind of the regular season and for the Winnipeg Jets many questions now need to be answered over the next few weeks.
Will they trade or sign Ladd? Will they trade or sign Byfuglien? Will the Jets decide that they are indeed sellers and start preparing for next season, or will they try to take one more belated run at a playoff spot?
