Claude Noel Gives Himself a Vote of Confidence: Is the End Nigh?

Claude Noel speaks to media most days, answering the tough, well considered questions like "GET BETTER!" and "WHY???????" It's the 15 minutes a day where I really feel for the guy.

We've listened to Noel ask the media what they want from him, and ask rhetorically what he can do with the 12 forwards he was given. But today's conference included a whole new level of bizarre.

Zach Redmond AHL Bound, Mark Stuart Returns

After a mostly poor showing in his first three NHL games this season, Zach Redmond has been re-assigned to the AHL IceCaps. His surprising but brief debut a year ago left many with high hopes for his season, but contract considerations and injury kept him off the NHL roster and off the ice for most of the year.

The move comes after Mark Stuart successfully took part in today's physical practice and was cleared by trainers for the game against Minnesota Saturday afternoon.

Is Redmond's opportunity over?
