Like its parent club in the NHL, the Manitoba Moose have been struggling to win games. Currently the team sits 24th in points percentage. What separates the two teams is why they have been losing.

It was a night of returns at the MTS Centre. Ondrej Pavelec returned between the pipes for the first time this season. Alexander Burmistrov returned to face his former club. The Arizona Coyotes returned to a city they once called home. Most importantly, the Winnipeg Jets returned to winning ways as they doubled the Desert Dogs 6-3 to snap a four-game losing streak.
