Webster's describes loyalty as "a feeling of strong support for someone or something." There is no denying the Winnipeg Jets organization is loyal to certain people. There are still six players remaining from the Atlanta Thrashers days. You remember the Thrashers don't you? They weren't very good but True North Inc loved them so many stayed on, some much longer than they should have.

Canucks Army is excited to announce we'll be co-hosting the 2017 Vancouver Hockey Analytics conference with the Vancouver Canucks, Hockey Graphs and Hockey Data.

This event follows in the footsteps of last year's event, a smashing success held at the Harbour Centre. The Vancouver Canucks have stepped forward this year to help host the event and have even volunteered Rogers Arena as a location.

Tough Eastern Week Ahead for the Jets

As the calendar flips into November, the Jets begin a busy week with a string of games against Eastern Conference opponents. After dropping a winnable Sunday matinee game against a Sabres team missing their two biggest stars in Jack Eichel and Evander Kane, a home-and-home looms with Alexander Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals. The second game against the Caps is the first half of a back-to-back, as the Jets will head from Washington on Thursday to Detroit on Friday before finishing the week on Sunday at Madison Square Garden versus the New York Rangers.

A month away from the December 1st RFA deadline, the Winnipeg Jets are still without Jacob Trouba. While the Jets have struggled in Trouba's absence, it's Trouba who may be getting the worst of this whole debacle. Holdouts are no stranger to the NHL, Trouba's situation may be more unique than it seems at first glance.

The forgotten thing is, Trouba's burning more bridges than just Winnipeg.
